Enter the Bermuda Triangle in Wreck Runners
Disruptive Games has officially confirmed that its upcoming co-op extraction title, Wreck Runners, is heading to consoles alongside its previously announced PC release. The game will launch on Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 on July 16, 2026, bringing its chaotic, team-based gameplay to a wider audience.
Set in the mysterious Bermuda Triangle, Wreck Runners blends exploration, survival, and humor into a fast-paced multiplayer experience. Players take on contracts from the oddly cheerful and slightly suspicious Trustwell Corporation, venturing into dangerous territory in search of valuable loot. Of course, the job comes with its fair share of risks. This includes a creeping, ominous Fog and a world that feels like it’s slowly falling apart.
Each run sees you and up to three teammates piloting the versatile ORCA vehicle across treacherous waters and unstable skies. Along the way, you’ll rely on tools like the Scrapjack, a physics-based grappler that lets you snag hard-to-reach salvage while navigating unpredictable environments.
No two runs play out the same, with strange creatures, environmental hazards, and shifting conditions constantly keeping players on edge. Between expeditions, collected loot can be turned into upgrades, better gear, and cosmetic customizations. Hence, adding a rewarding progression loop to the experience.
With its mix of tension, teamwork, and lighthearted chaos, Wreck Runners is shaping up to be a standout co-op adventure when it arrives next year. It looks like the Bermuda Triangle is about to get a lot more crowded.
