LANESPLIT Is Ready to Evolve Very Soon

The high-speed motorcycle simulator LANESPLIT is getting a major update on June 23, 2026, bringing a brand-new VR mode to PC via Steam VR. Developed by solo creator FunkyMouse, the update was officially revealed during the UploadVR Showcase, highlighting a more immersive way to experience its intense traffic-weaving gameplay.

This new VR mode puts players directly in the rider’s seat, offering a fresh perspective where every close call feels more immediate. Alongside this, the developer is also introducing dynamic weather, including thunderstorms that can quickly turn roads slick and unpredictable, forcing players to adapt their riding style in real time.

The update also expands the game’s vehicle lineup with two electric motorcycles and three gas-powered additions, bringing the total to 20 bikes. Players can earn in-game currency after each run to unlock new rides and customize their appearance with a range of outfits.

Adding a unique touch, the game now features playable characters inspired by real-world motorcycle content creators such as Brian636, CyborgAngel, and GhostRider. Whether playing solo or in multiplayer, riders can choose to customize their own character or step into the shoes of these familiar personalities.

Paired with a dynamic drum-and-bass soundtrack that ramps up with speed, LANESPLIT continues to deliver a fast, intense riding experience. The update will be available as a free addition to the base game, which launches in VR at a price of $17.99.

With this update, LANESPLIT pushes its adrenaline-fueled gameplay even further, offering players a more immersive and stylish ride than ever before.
