World of Tanks: HEAT Battles Onto PC and Consoles Today

Step Inside the Battlefield in World of Tanks: HEAT

Wargaming has officially launched World of Tanks: HEAT, a brand new standalone free-to-play tactical vehicle shooter, now available across PC and consoles. Built on a proprietary engine, the game introduces a faster, more dynamic take on armored warfare, blending tactical combat with a cast of unique Agents and experimental vehicles.

The title is live on PC via Wargaming Game Center and Steam, alongside PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and NVIDIA GeForce NOW. It also supports full cross-platform play and progression, allowing players to carry their progress seamlessly across platforms.

“Launching HEAT is a huge milestone for us, but in many ways, this is only the beginning,” said Artyom Yantsevich, Product Director. “I want to thank our team, as well as our players, for helping bring HEAT to life. We’re excited for what’s ahead and can’t wait to grow HEAT together.”

The launch season brings a steady stream of content, including five free weekly Battle Passes, five tanks, and rewards. Players start with three Agents, Chopper, Kent, and Hound, each tied to specific combat roles and vehicles. Additional Agents and their tanks can be unlocked through progression.

At release, the game features eight Agents across three roles: Defender, Assault, and Marksman. Players can experiment with 15 customizable vehicles, each designed for different playstyles. Battles unfold across eight varied maps, while four PvP modes, Hardpoint, Control, Kill Confirmed, and Conquest, offer diverse objectives and strategies.

With its strong launch lineup and focus on evolving content, it sets the stage for a promising future. The foundation is solid, and the real test will be how the game grows with its player community.
