Solo Leveling: ARISE Summons New Character and Improvements
Netmarble has rolled out a fresh update for Solo Leveling: ARISE, introducing a new hunter alongside a wide range of gameplay improvements aimed at refining the overall experience.
The highlight of this update is the arrival of Antoine Martinez, a Light Elemental Stacker who joins the roster with a combat style centered on axe-based attacks. His Ultimate Skill, “The Angel’s Stay,” empowers his weapon before delivering a powerful ground strike that sends shockwaves outward. Beyond raw damage, Antoine brings strong utility to the battlefield, as the final hit of his skills, excluding basic attacks, activates the Wisdom effect and restores HP for allies, making him a balanced choice for both offense and team support.

Beyond the new character, the update significantly reworks core content. Chapters 3 through 20 in the main story have been refined to reduce repetition, while Special Stages have been introduced in select Normal difficulty chapters, offering unique boss fights under restricted conditions. Story expansion also continues with chapters 32 to 34, now available in both Normal and Reverse modes.
Sung Jinwoo receives a major upgrade through a new Job Change titled “Monarch of Shadows: Exterminator,” raising his level cap from 140 to 150 and boosting his combat capabilities.
System-wide enhancements include the unification of entry currencies into a single Dungeon Entry Key, as well as the addition of a new dungeon, the Mind Rift. New systems like Monarch Milestones and the Successor system further deepen gameplay, introducing characters such as the Successor of the White Flames Myro.
Overall, this update adds meaningful content while streamlining systems, making it a solid step forward for both new and returning players.
