Manage the Air Traffic in Skychart: Airline Executive
Independent developer Chris Kuhn of Casey Jones Labs has launched the SkyChart: Airline Executive demo on Steam, giving strategy and simulation fans their first hands-on look at the spiritual successor to Aerobiz Supersonic. Alongside the demo, the developer rolled out the biggest update yet, the v0.3 / v0.4 “Aerobiz Depth Pass,” which significantly expands its core systems.
The update introduces multi-stop route chains, allowing players to build detailed A to B to C airline networks with precise per-leg demand calculations. It also adds transit rings to the world map and includes a new route-planning wizard that pulls smart suggestions directly from the in-game Strategic Advisor. Meanwhile, AI rivals now create their own connecting routes, with legacy and premium carriers focusing on longer, more profitable hauls.

The game has already gained strong early attention. It ranked as the #1 Product of the Day on PeerPush and earned high user ratings. Strategy content creator Czardus also shared a 46-minute first-impressions video, praising the game’s unexpected depth and calling it a strong start. On Steam, multiple curator groups have recommended the title, highlighting its addictive and highly strategic gameplay.
In SkyChart: Airline Executive, players take control of a growing airline and compete against more than 35 AI rivals across historical eras starting in 1930. The game features hundreds of real-world cities, a wide range of aircraft from classic to futuristic designs, and dynamic historical events that influence the global aviation market.
With a feature-rich demo now live and a positive early reception building, SkyChart: Airline Executive is shaping into a deep and rewarding airline management experience.
