A Milestone for Néro & Sci ∫ Integral Edition
Souris-Lab has announced that the free Steam demo for Néro & Sci ∫ Integral Edition will appear in the Cerebral Puzzle Showcase, a Steam event dedicated to puzzle games and “thinky” experiences. The showcase runs from May 28 to June 4, 2026. And it will allow PC and Steam Deck players to try the game’s opening content.
Souris-Lab launched Néro & Sci ∫ Integral Edition exclusively on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 on May 27, 2026. The studio describes the title as a contemplative puzzle-platformer that encourages players to solve challenges through observation, experimentation, and logic. Set in the colorful world of Héméide, it blends geometric shapes, symbols, and mathematical structures into its puzzles and environments.
Players unlock new mechanics throughout the adventure and combine different abilities to overcome increasingly difficult puzzles. The game supports both solo play and local co-op, giving players multiple ways to experience its challenges.
The Steam demo featured during the showcase includes the game’s first three levels and delivers roughly 30 minutes of gameplay. The team also confirmed that the full game will include more than 20 hours of content as well as several hidden levels. Early international previews have already praised the game’s original mathematics-inspired approach to puzzle design.
Caroline Martinand, President of Souris-Lab, said: “We always imagined Néro & Sci as a puzzle game that encourages players to observe, experiment and understand things for themselves. Being selected for the Cerebral Puzzle Showcase means a lot to us, because this event highlights exactly the kind of experiences and players the game was made for.”
With its creative use of mathematics and steadily growing attention from fans, the game stands out as one of the unique indie releases.
