Indie developer Red Ego Games has officially released YAMIGATARI: FOR3ST on Steam, bringing a haunting new psychological horror experience to PC players. The game launches at $7.99, with a limited 20% discount available until May 9.
Built as a 2D pixel-art horror title, YAMIGATARI: FOR3ST follows the unsettling journey of Nora, a young girl who finds herself trapped in a nightmare she cannot escape. What begins as a quiet retreat into nature quickly spirals into something far more disturbing. Deep within the forest, Nora realizes she is not alone. A mysterious entity stalks her every move, feeding on fear and isolation, growing stronger the more she loses her way.
Rather than relying on combat, the game focuses entirely on psychological tension. Survival depends on staying grounded as the forest itself turns hostile, closing in with an almost sentient presence.
