Cyberscape Has Officially Launched on Steam Today

Stop the Corporate Syndicate in Cyberscape

AtomicTorch Studio has officially launched Cyberscape, a new single-player first-person shooter that blends classic sci-fi action with deep RPG mechanics. Set entirely aboard a massive space station, the game places players in the role of operatives sent to infiltrate a facility controlled by a ruthless corporate Syndicate secretly building a mutant army.

Drawing clear inspiration from the methodical pacing and mechanical depth of 1990s-era shooters, Cyberscape goes beyond fast-paced action. It combines exploration, tactical combat, and character progression within an interconnected environment that encourages players to think carefully about every move. The game also offers multiple operatives to choose from, allowing for varied playstyles and meaningful build customization, which enhances replay value.

A key highlight of Cyberscape is its open-ended level design, giving players the freedom to approach objectives in different ways. In addition, the title launches with a built-in level and scenario editor, offering full modding support from day one, making it especially appealing for creative players and community-driven content.

“A lot of modern retro-inspired shooters focus almost entirely on speed and spectacle. We wanted to go in a different direction and build something with more structure, more tension, and more depth – a game where combat is only a part of the experience, where exploration, planning, and character build choices matter just as much as raw reflexes,” said Valentin Gukov, director at AtomicTorch Studio.

Known for titles like CryoFall, VoidExpanse, and Surviving Deponia, the studio continues its focus on deep systems and long-term replayability with this latest release. Moreover, this latest release stands out as a thoughtful and content-rich addition to the modern retro FPS space.
