Warhammer Blood Bowl Is Coming to PC, Xbox and PlayStation in Spring 2026

Prepare Yourself for the Warhammer Blood Bowl

NACON and Cyanide Studio have announced Warhammer Blood Bowl, a new video game adaptation based on the latest official rules of the tabletop game. The title is scheduled to launch in Spring 2026 and will be released digitally on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.

Players who already own Blood Bowl 3 will receive the new game for free, keeping their accounts along with any previously purchased or unlocked in-game content. To celebrate the announcement, a free demo will be available on Steam from March 18 to March 25, 2026, allowing players to try a new game mode called Rumble.

Warhammer Blood Bowl

Based on the newest tabletop rules, Warhammer Blood Bowl introduces two new factions, the Tomb Kings and the Bretonnians. The game will launch with 26 playable factions and a variety of competitions across both solo and multiplayer modes. It also builds on the foundation established by Blood Bowl 3, continuing the development work carried out by the team over the past three years.

The new Rumble mode focuses on faster matches that last around 30 minutes. It features smaller teams and a narrower pitch, creating quicker and more intense gameplay while still keeping the tactical and brutal style that defines Blood Bowl.

During the demo period, players will be able to try one PvP and one PvE mode using pre-built teams from five factions: Dark Elves, Lizardmen, Necromantic Horrors, Khorne, and the Old World Alliance.

With updated rules, new factions, and the addition of the Rumble mode, Warhammer Blood Bowl looks set to deliver a refreshed experience for both returning players and newcomers when it launches next year.
