Insider Trading Just Received Its First Major Update

New Difficulty Mode Awaits in Insider Trading

Naiive Studio has released a major update for Insider Trading, its stock market-inspired roguelike deckbuilder on Steam. After a strong launch that saw the game featured on Steam’s New & Trending list for a full week, the studio is now making the experience more accessible with a new Trainee difficulty mode designed for newcomers.

The update focuses on smoother onboarding and improved usability. Players will now receive warnings when making suboptimal moves, helping them better understand risk and strategy. The tutorial flow has been refined for a more intuitive introduction to the game’s mechanics, and restarting a run is more seamless thanks to automatic selection of the last played difficulty and character.

Language support has also expanded, with full Russian localization added. The game now supports eleven languages: English, Simplified Chinese, Japanese, Korean, French, German, Polish, Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, and Russian.

Insider Trading challenges players to manipulate a shared stock price that defines each run. Every card directly impacts the market, creating opportunities for massive gains but also the risk of catastrophic collapse. Strategic deckbuilding and smart sequencing are crucial, as playing multiple cards of the same type in one turn triggers powerful combo effects.

Success, however, comes at a cost. Rising stock prices unlock stronger rewards but increase volatility, making crashes more likely. With unique characters that reshape core mechanics, unpredictable events that disrupt strategies, and optional high-stakes difficulty modes, every run demands careful control or a willingness to watch the market burn.
