The young solo indie developer ZeroTix has announced that the Steam demo for Evades X is coming out this month. Evades X is a multiplayer precision experience that blends simple controls with demanding mechanics. Players will explore a futuristic setting spread across ten distinct universes, each filled with vibrant planets and evolving challenges. The core gameplay focuses on movement and timing, as players dash, jump, and grapple their way through carefully designed levels.
Each planet introduces unique visual styles and dynamic color shifts, paired with its own nostalgic soundtrack. Progression is tied to completing planets, which rewards players with “matter” that can be used to unlock cosmetic items. This includes hats and trails, allowing players to personalize their characters.
The game also features multiplayer elements, including reviving mechanics and a global chat system, adding a social layer to its challenging design. Looking ahead, the developer has plans for a competitive event titled the Summer Olympics of Evades X, scheduled for June 2026, where top players will take on the toughest planets.
With its accessible design and high skill ceiling, Evades X aims to appeal to both casual players and those seeking a serious precision challenge.
