Out Fishing Just Dropped a New Trailer Alongside Its Demo Release Date

Get a Deeper Glimpse of Out Fishing

Developer Mūn Mūn Games and publisher UNIKAT Label have released a brand-new trailer for their upcoming first-person psychological horror fishing simulator, Out Fishing. The latest footage offers a deeper look at the eerie experience awaiting players. It highlights previously unseen gameplay, expanded mechanics, and unsettling story elements lurking beneath the lake’s surface.

Out Fishing combines the quiet satisfaction of building a camp and chasing profit with an undercurrent of psychological horror. In this mysterious setting, the lake seems to watch, and the fish sometimes say things fish absolutely shouldn’t say.

The trailer emphasizes the game’s shifting atmosphere, with the lake itself appearing almost alive as its moods change from calm serenity to creeping dread. Players get a closer look at the mechanics that blend traditional fishing simulation with exploration and subtle narrative discovery. The video also showcases the strange occurrences that slowly unfold during a seemingly peaceful getaway.

Alongside the trailer, the team confirmed that the Out Fishing demo will launch on March 18 on Steam. The demo will give players their first opportunity to step into its fog-covered waters, cast their lines, and experience the opening portion of the story. It introduces core fishing systems, camp-building features, and gear upgrades. Players will also get to experience the first truly unsettling moments that hint that something is deeply wrong.

The game is set to release on PC via Steam, and players can wishlist it now to be notified when the demo goes live.
