Take Down the P.A.S.C.A.L. Gigacorporation in AI.VI
Out of Time and indie.io have announced that AI.VI will launch on Steam on March 18, 2026. The genre-blending shooter drops players into the armored shell of a retired war bot who just wants a quiet life mining batteries on the desert moon of Sohot. That peace shatters when the ruthless P.A.S.C.A.L. Gigacorporation invades, aiming to “maximize profits” through hostile takeovers enforced by waves of corporate combat robots.

AI.VI, built in a bygone era for all-out mechanized warfare, answers the assault the only way he knows how. Armed with a trusty pickbow and backed by a band of revolutionary workerbots, he fights to repel the invasion and turn shock troops into piles of scrap. Sohot was meant to be another corporate acquisition until it fought back.
Blending first-person shooting with tower defense mechanics, AI.VI gives players multiple ways to dismantle incoming robotic hordes. Crush enemies in melee combat, unleash outrageous ranged weaponry, or deploy traps and defensive structures that convert corporate assets into spare parts. The battlefield encourages experimentation and creative destruction.
Strategy deepens through four elemental forces, such as fire, ice, acid, and electricity. Each enemy type reacts differently, forcing players to adapt tactics and exploit weaknesses. Choosing the right mix of elements becomes essential to surviving relentless assaults. Players can further customize their approach with permanent upgrades and temporary power boosts in each level. Strengthen attacks, reinforce shields, gain brief invulnerability, and unlock new tactical possibilities.
AI.VI invites players to reclaim the means of production, one dismantled robot at a time, when it launches on March 18, 2026.
