KingsIsle Entertainment has officially launched its long-running, family-friendly MMO Wizard101 on Nintendo Switch, marking a major milestone for the beloved title. With this release, Wizard101 now reaches all major platforms, inviting a new generation of wizards to enroll at Ravenwood Academy. All while welcoming returning players to the magical Spiral. Players can now purchase Wizard101 on Nintendo Switch for $19.99 USD. This version grants full access to the first of the game’s five main story arcs and mirrors the Arc 1 Access Pass available on other platforms. The package offers hours of core story content. Players will get to explore enchanted worlds, battle magical foes, and unravel the Spiral’s mysteries. As they advance beyond the first arc, they can unlock additional areas, story content, and subscription options by purchasing Crowns, Wizard101’s premium in-game currency.
On Xbox and PlayStation consoles, players can download Wizard101 for free. They can even play the recently expanded free-to-play content in the Oasis zone of Krokotopia. Nintendo Switch players join the same servers as other console users, allowing them to share the broader console community. However, the game does not currently support cross-progression between platforms.
