Well Keeper Is Coming Out in Q1 2026 for Steam and Steam Deck

Defend Your Home in Well Keeper

Corporate Potato has revealed that its upcoming bullet hell roguelite title, Well Keeper, will arrive on Steam and Steam Deck in Q1 2026. A playable Demo is already live on Steam for everyone to try out. You can also check out the official demo trailer below to get a glimpse of the action.

Well Keeper centers on a lightning-charged mouse defending its home deep inside a worn leather shoe at the bottom of a well. Every stage pushes the action forward as you navigate by flapping to control direction and altitude. The movement style creates a distinct rhythm, and the automatic lightning attacks add constant pressure as enemies pour in. Across thirty waves divided into three levels, each encounter delivers its own pattern, tempo, and challenge, keeping the action tense and unpredictable from start to finish.

Enemies drop coins that you use to upgrade a wide range of properties and unlock special abilities known as Wishes. With options that include new weapons, modifiers, economic effects, and stat enhancements, each run takes on a sense of discovery while steadily increasing your strength. The upgrades form a clear progression loop, as collected Wishes carry over after defeat. This allows players to begin each new attempt to begin with greater potential.

Each level culminates in a boss fight designed to push players beyond the rhythm of regular waves. Multi-phase patterns and layered attacks demand focus and careful movement, giving these battles a dramatic weight within the overall structure.

Flap-based movement remains central throughout, offering a simple starting point that supports expressive control once mastered. The ability to dash horizontally allows for last-second escapes, and the overall system gives the game a distinctive identity within the genre. So, what are you waiting for?
