Under Par Golf Architect Joins the Cozy Quest Festival With a Demo

Design and Manage in the Under Par Golf Architect

Broken Arms Games has announced that its upcoming creative management title, Under Par Golf Architect, will debut a free playable demo on Steam starting today as part of this year’s Cozy Quest Festival. The studio is positioning the game as a blend of tycoon strategy and open-ended creation, giving players the chance to build a full golfing destination from the ground up.

In Under Par Golf Architect, players take on the role of a designer and club manager, shaping every element of a course. The experience focuses on sculpting terrain, planning hole layouts, and making the many small decisions that help a course grow into a thriving venue. According to Yves Hohler, co-founder and creative director at Broken Arms Games, opening the demo to the public is an important step toward gathering community insight and refining the overall user experience.

The demo offers a detailed look at the game’s creative tools and progression. It includes three mission levels named Par, Birdie, and Eagle, each built around different goals that encourage players to experiment with layout ideas and management approaches. Players can assemble a range of structures to support their course and use eight terrain types, including grass, sand, dirt, and water, to shape environments with distinct character. This early version also marks the first time players can test their own course designs, allowing them to play through each hole and then adjust it based on how it performs.

Additionally, the game will also be featured throughout the Cozy Quest Steam Festival running from November 17 to 24, offering an accessible first look at its creative tools.
