Grave Stakes Playtest Goes Live Next Week

Become the Lone Survivor in Grave Stakes

Grave Stakes is preparing for a major step forward as Wild West Games announces a full week of playtesting on Steam beginning November 19. The studio plans to use this period to refine multiplayer performance and smooth out any remaining issues before the game moves into Early Access in December. The project draws inspiration from intense and unpredictable survival spectacles seen in The Purge, Saw, and Squid Games, shaping its world around a deadly underground show where each decision carries weight and every moment tests a player’s nerve.

Set in a hidden arena funded by wealthy thrill seekers, Grave Stakes pits up to eight competitors in high-pressure scenarios designed to push them to their limits. Victory means securing a massive cash reward, while failure brings an abrupt end to the competition in more ways than one. Each location within the show introduces new challenges and hosts, creating a shifting environment that keeps players alert. The structure encourages bold moves and risky choices, especially with Double or Nothing wagers that invite daring participants to gamble their progress for greater rewards.

Progression remains a central part of the experience. Players earn items such as masks, titles, and additional prizes as they build their reputation within the show. Achievements highlight the most ruthless competitors, adding another layer of motivation during each match.

Wild West Games plans to maintain momentum through the coming weeks, as open playtesting continues through October and leads directly into the Early Access launch this December. With its blend of tension, competition, and unpredictable scenarios, Grave Stakes aims to deliver a survival contest that pushes every participant to outthink and outmaneuver their rivals in pursuit of the ultimate prize.
