Dive Into the Fantasy World of Dungeons & Kingdoms
Dungeons & Kingdoms arrives with a wave of excitement as Camlann Games and solo developer Uncle Grouch Gaming open the gates to Early Access today. The project blends medieval fantasy kingdom building, management simulation, and third-person dungeon crawling into a single experience. It brings customizable structure creation, familiar survival features, detailed villager oversight, and a combat system designed to reward careful exploration.
Interest in the game has surged for months, climbing past two hundred thousand Steam wishlists and rising through the Steam Pre-Release Charts in the days leading up to launch. Current rankings place it among the most-watched upcoming titles across global categories, including overall wishlists, strategy wishlists, and releases for the week of November 17. The Early Access launch trailer is also available for players eager to see the game in motion.
The release begins with two modes. Sandbox Mode introduces the full loop of play, including a guided tutorial, survival basics, resource gathering, terraforming, construction, village defense, and dungeon adventures. It also includes Steam Workshop support, giving players the ability to build custom structures and share their creations with the wider community. Creative Mode opens the world with everything fully accessible, offering freeform building and exploration without progression limits.
Much of the imagery shown in official screenshots and trailers comes directly from Creative Mode. The team built an entire kingdom inside the mode, spent hours placing structures, equipped armor and weapons, mounted a horse, and climbed a mountain to capture the scene. These features are planned for future progression in Sandbox Mode, but the full toolkit is already available in Creative Mode for players who want to explore every possibility from day one. So, what are you waiting for? Go ahead and build your fantasy kingdom right now.
