Sigil Games is delighted to let everyone know that the demo for Divinum is now available on Steam. It is a 2D Metroidvania title that perfectly combines that hack’n’slash combat with rewarding exploration. Divium presents a side-scrolling adventure built around precise combat, layered progression, and a world shaped by old legends. The game invites you to claim the abilities of ancestral spirits and defend a cherished homeland. All while slowly piecing together a long-buried truth that shadows the island.
At the center of the story is Fjor, a young warrior from a quiet northern isle. Life on the island has always followed its own rhythm until a growing threat arrives from beyond its shores. Fjor is not yet the seasoned guardian her people need. However, the celestial blessing she was born under marks her path. By drawing strength from ancient heroes and awakening her dormant power, she begins the long climb toward becoming her island’s protector.
The adventure unfolds across a landscape shaped by history and conflict. As Fjor advances, she gains strength through each encounter, every fragment of lore, and every skill earned through perseverance. The island’s surface and its hidden layers form a tapestry of varied spaces: shadowed caves, thick swamps, deserted catacombs and quiet ruins where the past still breathes. Each region carries its own dangers and secrets, encouraging steady exploration while pushing Fjor toward the truth that binds the land and its spirits.
