Demon Stick Is Launching a Demo on Steam This Month

Cross Different Levels of Hell in Demon Stick

Artur Latkovsky has announced that the demo for Demon Stick will arrive this November on Steam. It will give players their first chance to experience its strange and punishing world ahead of the full release next year. You can also check out its official trailer below to get a glimpse of the adventure ahead.

In Demon Stick, you play as a cursed stick struggling to climb out of Hell. After a botched exorcism, a group of priests trapped your demonic soul inside a wooden body and banished you to the fiery depths. Awakening at the very bottom, you begin your desperate ascent back toward your father’s throne. All in the hopes that he can restore your true form.

The world of Demon Stick draws inspiration from the bizarre and nightmarish art of Hieronymus Bosch. The creators built each layer of Hell using cutouts from Bosch’s original paintings, transforming his surreal visions into a living, tormenting landscape. As you climb, you face shifting platforms, impossible slopes, and physics-based challenges that test your precision and patience.

The controls are simple, but mastering them is anything but. Every swing, slide, or leap demands care, and a single mistake can send you crashing back to the depths. Yet each small victory feels earned, each climb a miracle of persistence and timing.

Demon Stick promises a mix of absurd humor, punishing gameplay, and artistic horror unlike anything else. Players eager to test their skill and sanity can add the game to their wishlist now and prepare to take their first fall this November.
