Welcome to the Little Planet
VRWOOD has officially launched Little Planet today on Meta Quest, a cozy life simulation that invites players to create their own peaceful corner of the universe. After nearly two years in early access, the game now opens its doors to everyone, free of charge. You can check out the official launch trailer below.
In Little Planet, players begin on a small world and gradually transform it into a home that reflects their personality and creativity. By gathering resources, crafting furniture, and reshaping the landscape, they can create vibrant gardens, tranquil ponds, and hidden sanctuaries teeming with life. Friendly creatures known as Planet Pals run shops, offer quests, and bring the world to life. While multiplayer features allow players to collaborate, decorate, and explore together.
Frank Huang, founder of VRWOOD and creative director of Little Planet said, “Little Planet isn’t just a game, it’s the place you come home to – and so many wonderful people have made their home with us over the last two years,” he added, “Our game has been shaped, and will continue to be shaped, by the players in our community.”
The full launch introduces several new experiences designed to deepen the sense of joy and community. Players can now adopt a customizable pet called a Joyling, each with distinct traits and preferences. The new Starnexus social hub offers a vibrant gathering place to meet others and enjoy three fresh mini-games. Furthermore, competitive events such as scavenger hunts, maze explorations, and fishing tournaments add playful ways to connect and unwind.
With its launch, Little Planet invites everyone to discover joy in the small things, crafting, exploring, and creating a home. The game is now available for free on Meta Quest, with optional in-app purchases.
