Call of Duty Black Ops 6 Celebrates Spooky Season

If you haven’t noticed, it’s spooky season. That means ghosts and ghouls abound. Even within the video game realms you know and love. Today, Call of Duty is happy to announce the latest update arriving to Call of Duty Black Ops 6 and Warzone this week: The Haunting. The new update, The Haunting, is bringing a host of new content to both the base game and Warzone this Thursday, October 9th, 2025. In fact, the update is bringing new maps, new events, a new battlepass and more. A blog post provides more details on the update. Black Ops 6 The Haunting

The Haunting is bringing a great deal to Black Ops 6. For instance, the new seasonal event is bringing three new multiplayer maps to the game: Gravity, Rig and Mothball Strike. However, that isn’t all. Additionally, a Nuketown Halloween variant, Slasher Deathmatch featuring Chucky from Child’s Play, a new Zombies Haunted Havoc event, the return of Zombie Royale are all coming in the update. Of course, this means Warzone and Zombies will also be getting some fun new and returning game modes. Furthermore, players can expect a brand new battlepass featuring an array of haunted Weapon Blueprints, Operator Skins, Calling Cards, Finishing Moves, Emotes, and more.
