Team Soda and BILIBILI GAME have announced the release date for their upcoming title, Escape From Duckov. This humorous extraction shooter will officially launch on October 16 for PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, as well as on Mac through the Mac App Store. The game has already won over thousands of gamers with its unique blend of humor, strategy, and chaotic duck-filled combat. Priced at 17.99 USD, 17.99 GBP, or 17.99 EURO, the launch period will include an early adopter discount of 12% for the first two weeks.
Revealed during today’s Indie Fan Fest, organized by Digital Bandidos and The Mix, Escape From Duckov stood out as a highlight among a lineup of indie gems. It drew attention for its playful approach to the extraction shooter genre. The game has been described as “the Cutest Little Extraction Shooter”. It features ducks armed with an eclectic arsenal, including guns, RPGs, swords, crossbows, and even portals.
Unlike traditional tactical shooters, Duckov embraces a whimsical, top-down single-player PvE experience. Cartoonish enemies, fog-of-war mechanics, and randomly dropped loot add charm and unpredictability. While base-building, weapon customization, and a robust progression system give players plenty of strategic depth. The combination of lighthearted visuals and complex gameplay ensures high replayability and long-term engagement.
