Bake ’n Switch Celebrates 5th Anniversary With a Permanent Price Drop

Fulfill Your Destiny in Bake ’n Switch

Streamline Studios is marking a major milestone as its wildly chaotic party brawler, Bake ’n Switch, celebrates its fifth anniversary. First released on August 21, 2020, the game quickly carved out its own corner in the co-op scene with its quirky mix of teamwork, competition, and dough-slinging madness that has kept players entertained for half a decade.

To celebrate the occasion, publisher Streamline Media Group has announced a permanent price drop, cutting the cost of the game from $30 to just $5. The new price goes into effect on September 4 at 00:00 MYT, September 3 at 17:00 BST, and 09:00 PT, making the game more accessible than ever.

Bake ’n Switch

Available on both Steam and Nintendo Switch, Bake ’n Switch allows one to four players to either cooperate or battle it out as they wrangle living Dough creatures. Players can catch, merge, and sacrifice these mischievous little Buns to appease the hungry ancient Guardians. With more than 100 energetic levels, six distinct Bakers to master, and a roster of quirky Dough, every session brings fresh rounds of laughter, chaos, and friendly betrayal.

“Five years ago, we launched Bake ’n Switch as a passion project to bring people together through laughter, chaos, and a little bit of betrayal,” said Alexander Fernandez, CEO of Streamline Media Group. “The new $5 price tag is our way of saying thank you to the players and inviting new Bakers to experience the wild world of Fla.”

Over the years, the game has grown through free DLC, seasonal events, and expanded online multiplayer, guided by feedback from its community of more than 10,000 players. With accolades such as Game of the Year, Outstanding Gameplay, and Visual Excellence at Reboot 2019, Bake ’n Switch continues to prove that baking and brawling make an unforgettable mix.
