Seafarer: The Ship Sim invites players to build their own maritime career in a vast open world. Missions range from guiding small tugboats to operating massive cargo ships, with activities including maintenance, firefighting, and cargo recovery. Players can choose between Story Mode, featuring a multi-mission narrative, and Quick Play for free exploration. Customization options for captains and ships, along with advanced visuals powered by Unreal Engine 5 and NVIDIA WaveWorks 2.0, aim to deliver a highly realistic ocean experience.
The game will be available for $24.99/£20.99/24,99€ at launch. Originally planned for summer 2025, the Early Access release was moved to October to allow for additional development time. This will ensure a smoother and more polished experience for players.
With its detailed ships, dynamic missions, and realistic seas, this title is shaping up to be an expansive and immersive experience for fans of maritime simulation.
