Silent Forest Games has officially launched Prop Haunt, a 4v1 psychological horror game, in Steam Early Access. Priced at £12.99 /$14.99 /€14.99, the game invites players into a chilling match of supernatural hide and seek, where mischievous spirits face off against a determined investigator.
In Prop Haunt, four players take on the roles of ghosts who possess everyday objects to sow chaos and confusion. Using teleportation, stealth, and sinister powers, they can slip into the environment and manipulate it to their advantage. Opposing them is a lone investigator, equipped with cameras, gadgets, and unwavering focus. He must work to uncover the hauntings before they spiral out of control. The balance between deception and deduction turns each match into a tense battle of wits.
The Early Access version already offers a strong foundation. Players can choose from four unique ghost characters, each with a distinct style of haunting, and explore two maps filled with paranormal possibilities and hiding spots. Public and private lobbies make it easy to play with friends or strangers, while in-game voice chat opens the door to teamwork or cunning misdirection.
Silent Forest Games plans to expand Prop Haunt significantly during Early Access, shaped by community feedback. Upcoming updates include new maps, additional powers and tools, procedural prop generation to boost replayability, and leaderboards, with more surprises in store.
