Fight AI Anomaly in DDoD
The Future Entertainment Company has unveiled DDoD, a top-down tactical roguelite shooter, alongside its first gameplay trailer. Set in an abandoned industrial region, the game’s world is overrun by a semi-sentient biological AI anomaly that has transformed the landscape into a place of danger and discovery.
The debut gameplay trailer introduces the Purple Lands, a sprawling open-world map suffocated by a DNA-warping phenomenon called the Fog. This strange anomaly alters the genetic code in unpredictable ways. However, survivors who dare to endure its effects may acquire abilities beyond human comprehension. Although such gifts rarely come without a cost.
Players will embark on a dangerous trek toward the source of the Fog, navigating swamps, shadowed forests, and silent, ruined towns. Each step forward is a gamble, with hazards both environmental and unnatural waiting to strike. Success demands resourcefulness, scavenging for supplies, and modifying weapons to fit the moment. All while deciding how far to push one’s luck in pursuit of answers.
The game blends tense tactical combat with roguelite unpredictability, ensuring that no two runs feel the same. In co-op mode, teamwork becomes as vital as skill, with shared risks and rewards shaping each expedition.
DDoD has been officially announced as part of the Ukrainian Games Festival 2025 on Steam, highlighting the creativity and resilience of its development scene. Players eager to face the Fog can explore more details and add the game to their wishlist on Steam.
From its hostile open world to its unsettling AI-driven threat, DDoD promises a grim and atmospheric journey where every choice could mean survival or the end.
