Jelly Troops, the fast-paced PvP action strategy game from solo developer Waken from Nukenin Co., Ltd. and publisher Phoenixx Inc., is set to launch on September 17, 2025, for PC via Steam and Nintendo Switch.
At a glance, Jelly Troops looks lighthearted: two wizards lead colorful slime armies in a battle to capture flags. But underneath the playful surface is a real-time strategy experience where sharp thinking and quick reflexes determine victory. Players must grow their gelatinous forces by collecting Magic Fruits scattered across the battlefield, deciding whether to focus all troops on one pod for speed or split their efforts to gather more efficiently.
The maps are full of threats as well as opportunities. Towering Golems roam key areas, ready to crush anything in their path. Skilled commanders can lure these giants away or use them to block enemy advances. Strategic decisions continue on the front lines, where players can win through brute force, smart positioning, or stealthy maneuvers through the fog of war.
Power-ups scattered throughout each map offer game-changing effects. This includes lightning strikes, time bombs, invisibility, and Guardian reinforcements, giving battles a dynamic and unpredictable edge. Players can test their skills in split-screen multiplayer or take the fight online in public and private matches.
