Battlefield 6 Presents the Future of Warfare

War is coming. Grand, sweeping, ground combat, tanks rolling over the battlefield, and jets fighting overhead. The storied war franchise returns. Today, Electronic Arts (EA) and Battlefield Studios are happy to unveil the newest title in the famous Battlefield franchise. Battlefield 6 launches into the public eye with the new reveal trailer. Of course, the trailer gives gamers a look at what awaits them in the new warzones. Additionally, a press release provides some more details on upcoming news for the game. 

Battlefield 6 invites players to step into a world on the brink of war. A private military with funding from former NATO nations,  Pax Armata, is threating to draw the whole world into conflict. Importantly, this background sets the stage for both the game’s multiplayer combat and the story of the campaign. That’s right, the famous Battlefield campaign is returning with the 6th installment of the game. However, more fan favorite aspects of the game are returning in the multiplayer gameplay. For instance, wide maps full of intense firefights on the ground. Squads of soldiers fighting amidst streets and fields, with tanks rolling across the battlefield. Of course, jets streak across the skies placing players in down to the wire dogfights where one false move will cost you everything.

More information about Battlefield 6 Thursday, July 31 at 11:30 AM PDT / 14:30 PM EDT when the studio will host a a blockbuster multiplayer reveal. The event will be available to stream live on YouTube and Twitch and accessible during and after the event for at least 12 months at ea.com/news.
