Poison Pill Games has officially announced that Vegansters, a unique deck-building roguelike, will arrive on PC via Steam on June 18, 2025. Set in a city overrun by criminals known as the Vegangsters, players must use fast-paced strategy and tactical card play to restore order.
Vegansters blends real-time action with turn-based card combat, where every card influences the speed and outcome of each battle. Players can choose between two distinct characters, each offering their own mechanics and playstyle, encouraging multiple runs and fresh strategies with every playthrough.
As players defeat enemies, they’ll earn new cards, selecting one from a random set of three to build a deck tailored to their evolving strategy. Defeated criminals may also drop gadgets, which can enhance your build and open up new tactical options. These gadgets can also be found at events or bought with rootcoins.
