Check Out the New Trailer and Demo of Ratatan
Ratata Arts has officially announced that Ratatan, the rhythm rogue-lite action game from the creators of Patapon, will launch in Early Access on Steam on July 25, 2025. Ahead of the launch, the developer has revealed a new trailer, and a free demo is now available on Steam starting June 5.
Ratatan invites players into a vibrant world of beat-driven battles and whimsical chaos. Players will build a Cobun army, recruit rhythm-ready allies, and march across the land of Redo. The game blends music and roguelite mechanics, offering both solo and online co-op action for up to four players.
The playable demo gives a sneak peek into two early worlds: Pirates of the Parabbean and Yeehawler Mountain. It also features four playable Ratatans. With its side-scrolling rhythm gameplay and co-op support, the demo offers a solid taste of what’s to come.
Ratata Arts is also taking Ratatan on the road. A new trailer and interview debuted during the Day of the Devs Summer Showcase 2025, and the game will be playable at the SGF Play Days event in Los Angeles from June 7 to 8. Online appearances are also lined up for:
– Day of the Devs Summer Game Fest Edition: June 7 to 9
– Future Games Show: June 8
– PC Gaming Show: June 9
With its unique mix of rhythm, roguelite combat, and colorful charm, Ratatan will surely become a standout title of the summer.
