An Origami World Awaits in Hirogami
Bandai Namco Studios Singapore, in collaboration with publisher Kakehashi Games, is bringing the origami-inspired 3D action platformer Hirogami to PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam on September 3, 2025.
Hirogami first turned heads during its exclusive PC debut at the Tokyo Game Show in September 2024. Now, following a fresh reveal during Sony’s latest State of Play broadcast, the title is officially confirmed for a simultaneous PlayStation 5 release.
Set in the delicate and visually striking world of Shishiki Village, Hirogami places players in the role of Hiro. He is a courageous warrior standing against a mysterious digital corruption known as the Blight. To fight back, Hiro wields a unique power: the ancient art of folding, transforming into various origami animal forms to solve platforming challenges, battle enemies, and restore balance to his homeland.
Each transformation offers a distinct ability. As an Armadillo, Hiro can roll through tight spaces and crush obstacles. The Ape form provides raw strength to navigate treetops and deal powerful blows. Meanwhile, the Frog form enables agile leaps to reach high platforms and secret paths.
Combining vibrant environments with dynamic gameplay rooted in transformation and precision, Hirogami aims to deliver a refreshing take on the action platformer genre.
The adventure begins September 3, 2025. Players can wishlist Hirogami now on Steam or pre-order through the PlayStation Store.
