Jackal Officially Announced for PC via Steam

Get Ready for Jackal

Michał Marcinkowski, the legendary indie game developer of Soldat, King Arthur’s Gold, and Maniac is working on a new game. The announcement came today on Steam and the name of the title is Jackal. It is a brutally adrenaline-pumping top-down action game set in 1970s Las Vegas. Check out the official trailer below to get a glimpse of it yourself.

Jackal blends the intense action of Hotline Miami with a gripping Tarantino-style story, all set in the rough and seedy world of 1970s Las Vegas. Play as a hitman on a mission to dismantle the criminal empire ruling the city’s casinos and hotels. Your task is to take down ruthless crime lords and raid their gambling dens in brutal, close-quarters combat. The action is intense, and survival depends on your ability to adapt. So, you can use anything within reach as a weapon. This ranges from knives, pool cues, and chairs, to even household items.

Each playthrough feels fresh and unpredictable, thanks to randomly generated rooms and customizable gameplay mutators that stack to create unique challenges. No two runs are alike, keeping the action dynamic and the stakes high.

“Jackal combines my love of John Wick fight scenes, Scorsese’s mobsters, Tarantino’s storytelling, and the soul of the 1970s,” says the creator Michał Marcinkowski. Jackal is coming to PC via Steam in Q2 2025. Stay tuned for more news!
