CASTLE OF DRAGON is an action-adventure game from ATHENA that came out in 1989. It follows the story of two young kings as they embark on a journey to a castle inhabited by dragons. Their mission is to rescue a princess kidnapped by a ferocious dragon. Players can use their shield to defend against enemy attacks or move between the two lanes of paths at the front and rear to create an advantageous situation in battle.
The game is available digitally on the PlayStation store and Nintendo eShop for $7.99. Like any other game in the series, it uses the Japanese ROM for the main part. Like in other arcade games in the series, players can change various game settings, such as difficulty. They can even reproduce the atmosphere of an arcade display at any time. There is even a high-score leaderboard for everyone to compete with one another.
