The New Limited Edition Steam Deck Is Here
Valve has officially revealed the next limited-edition Steam Deck, including its price and on-sale date. The new Steam Deck OLED: Limited Edition White will be available in limited quantities starting from 18 November in the US, Canada, UK, Europe, Australia, Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and South Korea.
This new version offers the same 1 TB OLED model you know, but now in a sleek white-and-grey design. It comes with a matching white carrying case unique to this edition, plus a white microfiber cloth to keep it pristine. You can place your order through Steam starting November 18 at 3 PM PT / 6 PM ET. The device is priced at $680.
Valve made it clear that their new limited edition Steam Deck won’t be restocked once it’s sold out. “Once we’re out, we’re out,” a spokesperson said. The company has also made sure to spread out stock evenly across all regions where the system will be sold. To buy one, users need to have made a Steam purchase before November 2024 and must have a “good standing” status with Valve. Each account is limited to one unit.
Last year, Valve tested the waters by launching a translucent version to see if people liked different colors. The response was a big yes. That success is why Valve is now introducing a white version. While the translucent model was only available in the US and Canada, the new white edition will be available anywhere Steam Deck is sold.
