The game will finally make its full version debut after 15 years of development and it will be available on Steam, Itch Io, and GOG. Now is the best time to grab the game before the price increase on October 29th to $29.99. It is currently available for just $16.99, which is the lowest price it will ever be. Caves of Qud is a sci-fi fantasy RPG and roguelike, set in a richly detailed, far-future world. Dive into 10,000 years of history in a game named one of PC Gamer’s Top 100 in 2019, 2020, and 2024, where new civilizations rise from the ruins of the old.
The game has had tons of updates over the years, including a major interface overhaul in 2024 that makes it easier to use and play. The upcoming 1.0 update will introduce a beginner tutorial to help new players learn the basics of Qud. It also features the long-awaited final quest in the main storyline, with an epic ending that’s both strange and surprising.
Launching with the 1.0 release is the Dromad Deluxe edition. It comes with Caves of Qud, the enhanced soundtrack, and The Pets of Harvest Dawn DLC, adding in-game companions for your character. This DLC features pets that were once only available to Patreon supporters and even a brand-new one which the fans has never seen before.
