The indie game developer Sunshineshiny has announced that the team will be releasing a demo for Light: Path of the Archmage on Steam in Q1 2025. The release date will be revealed sometime soon. It is a cute open-world RPG that allows players to choose their adventure.
A long time ago, a powerful Archmage built a Magic Academy with the help of a special spellbook. But one day, the spellbook got tainted by dark magic. Now, it’s up to a young wizard to fix it. He embarks on an epic journey to restore the spellbook. Travel through breathtaking landscapes from lush forests to treacherous dunes and discover a mysteriously vast world in the floating islands.
Along the way, you’ll also recruit unique companions with extraordinary abilities and build a powerful team. You can switch between the members seamlessly to tackle various challenges, solve puzzles, and defeat dangerous foes. Not only that, you’ll also unravel the secrets of the late Archmage which will be crucial in restoring the spellbook.
