An Astro Bot to Play WithÂ
What could be better than playing a game with its main character? Of course, it works better when that character is a little robot already so they can really become your controller. Today, PlayStation is happy to announce that they will be releasing a new Astro Bot DualSense Controller. Releasing on September 6th, the controller will be arriving alongside the titular platforming game. Importantly, the controller will include the sci-fi aspects of the game and reflect them in its design. A press release provides more details on the controller and how to acquire it for yourself.Â
The Astro Bot DualSense Controller features all of the concepts that make the regular controllers great. For instance, gameplay will be enhanced through adaptive triggers and haptic feedback. Additionally, the controller allows players to experience the textures of the game more in-depth. Yet, unlike the other DualSense controllers, this one features none other than Astro Bot. That’s right, the protagonist of the upcoming platformer of the same name, is making their appearance on the controller. Featuring the little bot’s signature blue accents, sci-fi design, and even the familiar playful eyes on the touchpad, the controller really brings the Astro Bot to life. Now, players will be able to adventure in the game’s 80 levels alongside Astro Bot in more ways than one.
