Welcome to Crime Boss: Rockay City
The leading video game publisher 505 Games and developer INGAME STUDIOS have announced the Steam release date of Crime Boss: Rockay City. After undergoing huge development improvements, patches, and eight updates over the past 12 months, the game will finally arrive on 18 June 2024. It promises to turn the heisting genre around with the improvements and feedback from its ever-growing community and fans.
Crime Boss: Rockay City is an organized crime-based first-person multiplayer shooter full of action and turf wars. The game takes place in the 90s in the titular city of Rockay. You must heist, loot, and shoot your way to the top of the criminal underworld. You can build an empire in the single-player rogue-lite campaign. Or invite your friends to form a crew in the action-packed co-op multiplayer mode.
The game will feature a brand-new, over-the-top, killer-robot-themed Expansion Pack called ‘Cagnali’s Order’. It will feature four dystopian missions where an evil mega-corporation robotic police squad joined the RCPD. There will be new enemies, a new boss, and playable characters (plus an obligatory laser gun!). This will serve as the backbone of the expansion package which already includes a reworked gaming system, levels, weapons packs, heists and so much more.
INGAME Studios is also working on a roadmap of content into 2025. There will be various new levels, characters, and perks in the pipeline. It ranges from Halloween-themed content later in ‘24, through to Winter Ops heists in ‘25.
Crime Boss: Rockay City will also be coming out on PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S, so stay tuned for more updates.
