The one-man independent video game development studio Ofihombre is proud to announce that the Steam page of Randy & Manilla is already active. The game will also be coming out on itch.io and GOG is Early Access on 10 May 2024. Players will finally enter the mysterious quantum cyber-universe housed within Net-Cubes on this very day.
Randy & Manilla takes place in the year 2142 where players explore a mysterious cyber-universe hosted by Net-Cubes. Each contains different virtual worlds filled with various games of different genres. It takes huge inspiration from movies like Wreck-It Ralph and Ready Player One.
The post-apocalyptic setting of the game is free from all the external threats. However, the wicked Cracksom Virus wants to corrupt and expand his empire to the real world. Randy and Manilla, after receiving a critical alert signal from the messaging algorithm E-Mailer, embark on a quest to safeguard the cyber-universe from getting destroyed.
Equipped with hidden programming skills and the power to resist Cracksom’s corruption, they travel through various Net-Cubes, to stop the incoming doom. So, are you excited about this amazing quest through different genres of games?
