Botany Manor Sprouts an Updated Next Fest Demo

Getting Green With Next Fest

Reviving dead exotic plants is a great mission. Yet, having a green thumb is only the beginning. It’s going to take a lot of work, care, and plant knowledge to get these bad boys sprouting again. Now, you can even enjoy more of the puzzles surrounding these plants. Today,  Whitethorn Games and Balloon Studios are excited to announce that the demo for their puzzle game, Botany Manor, has been updated for Steam’s Next Fest. Allowing players to assume the role of a retired botanist, in possession of a large collection of dead plants. Solving puzzles and raising these plants from the dead is now your main mission. A trailer from last year gives players a glimpse of the game.

Botany Manor

Botany Manor introduces players to Arabella Greene. A famous botanist, Arabella is entering her retirement and is looking forward to enjoying her twilight years at her estate: Botany Manor. Yet, her home is now full of many of the most amazing plants she has gathered throughout her career. However, these plants aren’t in the best shape of their lives. Through research, exploring the manor grounds, discovering notes, and solving puzzles, players must revive these dead and dying plants. Interestingly, players are fully able to explore an accurate 19th century manor as they seek to complete this mission. Of course, the newly updated demo now allows players to experience even more of the puzzles available in the full game.

Importantly, players can check out the trailer from last year for a glimpse of the game. You can view the trailer below.

Botany Manor is releasing on PC, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox in Spring 2024. Currently an updated demo is available through Steam Next Fest.
