Xbox Game Pass Will Remove Yet Another Game From Its Catalog

Xbox Game Pass Bid Farewell to Hitman: World of Assassination

As January nears its end, Microsoft shares an update on the Xbox Game Pass catalog. The good news is only one game will be removed this month.

Come January 31, Hitman: World of Assassination makes its exit from the Game Pass library—across cloud, console, and PC. A lone departure amidst this month’s six-game shuffle.

Earlier in January, titles like GTA V, Garden Store, MotoGP 22, Persona 4 Golden, and Persona 3 Portable bowed out. However, with just Hitman making its exit, subscribers can breathe a sigh of relief.

The upcoming highlight is the Pokemon-inspired Palworld, set to join Game Pass on January 19. For a complete overview of January’s additions and subtractions, delve into the Game Pass lineup.

Furthermore, a total of 14 games are set to join the Game Pass ranks this January, ensuring a net gain of six games—barring any unannounced changes before month-end.

In short, subscribers to the Game Pass have had a whirlwind of a month seeing the removal of some of their favourite titles. As the year continues we have yet to see what Xbox can continue to offer on the Game Pass, and what will keep fans intrigued and excited to stay subscribed.
