Atlas Wept Tells Its Dual Narratives Today

Retro Styled World

Adventures teach lessons. This is one of the fundamental truths that occur when youngsters embark on a journey of self discovery. Golden Age RPG gameplay meets some more modern mechanics as players explore a world falling to ruin around them. Today, solo developer Kbojisoft is excited to announce the release of their  old school RPG, Atlas Wept. Inviting players to a dual narrative adventure, they will enter an alien world and follow the stories of two separate groups of children. These kids embark on individual journeys each with their own goals and endings. A trailer gives players a glimpse of what they can expect from the game.

Atlas Wept

Atlas Wept introduces players to Dezi and Charlie as they search for the origin of a personality-erasing force. However, during this adventure another is occurring at the same time. Hal and Lucy are two other children searching for the origins of the robotic canine Gigi. Importantly, both adventures tell a tale of self-discovery and growth. Importantly, the game combines turn-based strategy and bullet-hell style action. Of course, players can explore a top-down world full of beautiful areas to explore in true old-school RPG fashion. Interestingly, players will not adventure unimpeded. Monsters called Grins will be opposition, puzzles will be blocking the way, and more all await.

Of course, players can get a look at Atlas Wept in its trailer. The trailer highlights the gameplay, art style, and characters of the game. Check it out below.

Atlas Wept is out now on PC via Steam. Importantly, more information is available on the game’s official website.
