What a Comeback for Touch Detective
We have some pretty interesting news everyone! The video game publisher Nicalis has confirmed that the popular Touch Detectives series is returning to the West. Touch Detective 3 + The Complete Case Files will arrive on the Nintendo Switch both physically and digitally on 28 March 2024.
This is the first time that Touch Detective Rising 3: Does Funghi Dream of Bananas? is getting localized in English. Just for reference, it is the first 3DS exclusive entry in the series. The cool part is that this edition will include the first two games and all the added content from the mobile releases.
In the game. Mackenzie and her companion Funghi solve mysteries in the town of Osawari. It features unique visual art and a wacky sense of humor. The entire series ran from 2006 to 2014, and only the first two entries reached North America and Europe.
Moreover, the publisher has already announced the pricing for North America. You can preorder the physical edition right now on Nicalis’ website for just $49.99 or $59.99. It will include a bonus plushie of the fan-favorite character Funghi. Or grab it digitally on the eShop for $39.99. However, there is no update on the price for other regions so far.
