Making it to the front page of Steam is a pretty big deal. Especially when Dreamhack is attached to the title. Yet, well deserving indie games get to make an appearance. Today, Vadzim Liakhovich and RedDeerGames are happy to announce that their farming sim game, Sprout Valley, is appearing on DreamHack Beyond. Allowing players to learn about the future of the game, the Dreamhack appearance shows off the gameplay of the game. Additionally, the appearance is discussing the future of the game including upcoming events.
Sprout Valley places players in the paws of Nico the Cat. Travelling to the islands of Ostera, the little cat starts a farm. As Nico players will design the environment, collect resources, plant and care for plants, and more. Of course, the game aims to adopt the cozy farming aesthetic of game’s like Stardew Valley. However, it also offers an expansive world to explore including a wide array of characters to meet. With over fifteen hours in the main storyline, as well as, a multitude of other activities, the game has a host of content to get through.
Yet, that isn’t all. Sprout Valley’s Dreamhack appearance let the community know about some upcoming events for the game. Additionally, the release of the Dreamhack event also coincides with the release of a special update trailer. This trailer allows players to see what coming with the Winter Update to the game.
