Robocraft 2 Will Arrive on Steam Early Access Tomorrow

One More Day to Go For Robocraft 2

The award-winning independent video games studio Freejam will be launching Robocraft 2 on Steam Early Access tomorrow (7 November). The cool part is that this sequel to their awesome vehicle-based combat game will be totally free. Moreover, the developer is also planning to release the game on consoles in the future.

Robocraft 2

Robocraft 2 takes place 100 years after the events of its prequel. Two big corporations have returned to Mars to gain control over the powerful resource called protonium. Now, players must choose a side engage in vast online PVP matches, and destroy each other block-by-block. There are tons of futuristic weapons to explore across different maps.

So, the enemy has destroyed your machinery vehicle? Do not worry at all. Because you can always continue the fight on foot with your awesome QMG Assault Rifle. Not only that, there are turrets and vehicles throughout the maps that you can use every time you find them.

Additionally, there is a Community Robot Factory that features an endless number of machines and weapons to browse and download. Or, you can become an engineer yourself and share your creativity with the community. By doing so, you can earn some in-game currency from every machine uploaded. The sky is the limit when it comes to this aspect of the game.

“One of the most exciting things about working on this sequel is the opportunity to use powerful technology that was not previously available to us,” said Mark Simmons, CEO and Game Director at Freejam. “This will let us develop new features and mechanics that players can use to create incredible machines that they can send into battle in intense physics-based destruction.”
