Death Trick: Double Blind Announced for the Nintendo Switch

Solve the Mystery From Two Perspectives

The indie publisher Neon Doctrine and developer Misty Mountain Studio have announced Death Trick: Double Blind for the Nintendo Switch. This announcement came during yesterday’s Nintendo Indie World Showcase. Moreover, you can jump right into the game as the demo is available now on the Nintendo eShop.

Death Trick: Double Blind

Death Trick: Double Blind is a visual novel-based non-linear murder mystery game. It takes place at the height of traveling circus popularity in twentieth-century America. Hattie, the star magician of Morgan’s Traveling Circus goes missing and players must try to unravel the mystery from two unique protagonistic point-of-views. One is a fellow magician and colleague of Hattie, and the other is a private eye struggling with amnesia.

They must use their skills and prowess to befriend and interrogate a huge cast of characters to uncover the truth behind the events. They must investigate various locations, gather clues, and hunt down contradicting narratives filled with twists, turns, and treachery. However, keep in mind that it is a case of murder.

Death Trick: Double Blind puts a lot of emphasis on the decisions that the players make. Their choice of which clues to pursue, which character to interrogate, and which locations to visit will have a huge impact on how the story unfolds and how the story ends.

The game also features a vintage-style atmosphere and soundtrack that captivates the experience of the story very well. To build up the hype, check out the official reveal trailer below.
