Mistrogue Launching Into a Full Adventure in October

Become Mist

Prepare to delve into a living, breathing, dungeon. Of course, dungeons are full of special items, treasure, and more. Delving into this treacherous place is sure to reward your bravery. Yet, be warned death means losing it all. Today, Polyscape is happy to announce that their roguelike dungeon crawler, Mistrogue: Mist and the Living Dungeons, is releasing its full version in mid-October. Combining elements of roguelike, dungeon-crawler, and JRPG games, in the spirit of Mystery Dungeon, the game allows players to delve into endlessly changing dungeons in search of more and more powerful items. A press release provides more details on the game and the full version. Additionally, a teaser trailer from some months ago gives players a glimpse of the game.

Mistrogue

Mistrogue places players in the adventuring boots of the titular character, Mist. Mist is an adventurer who dares to delve into the Living Dungeons. As Mist, players will embark on expeditions into the ever-changing landscape of the dungeons in search of loot and gold. Of course, the dungeons are home to a myriad of dangerous monsters. Luckily, Mist has the skills to take them on. The game allows players to fight hordes of monsters in real-time combat with a variety of skills and an arsenal of weapons. Interestingly, death in the Living Dungeons means a failed expedition. Failing an expedition means you lose all of your progress and rewards for that expedition. Success means more items to sell back in town and more money to be made for upgrades.

Of course, players can check out the teaser trailer from some months ago for a glimpse of the game. View the trailer below.

Mistrogue is releasing its full version in mid-October to PC via Steam.
