Magical Metroidvania Cooking
Cooking has never been so magical. In fact, the very essence of magic can be found in cooking when it comes to this world. Luckily, players will have a chance to explore a world rife with magic and food, while they solve its problems. Today, Whitethorn Games and developer sKaule are happy to give players a dive into their upcoming Metroidvania, Magical Delicacy, with a press release. Releasing in 2024 to PC and Xbox, the game combines cooking and Metroidvania adventure and action. Importantly, players can check out the new press release for more info on the game. Magical Delicacy introduces players to a young witch, Flora. As Flora players will explore the seaside town of Grat. Importantly, the city is bustling and full of magic. Of course, magic comes with its guardians. Two opposing covens, each with similar goals but different methods, split the town with their rivalry. Flora, a chef who infuses magic into her food, will be taught by members of these covens and hope their rivalry doesn’t interfere.
Interestingly, players will be able to explore Grat with Metroidvania-style gameplay. Furthermore, players will be able to collect ingredients to create more food. Once players make food they can sell it in Flora’s shop. Additionally, players can spend time exploring Grat, finding new ways to traverse, unlocking new recipes, learning new spells, and experiencing this new world.
