A Spiritual Successor
It’s all about momentum. Slowing down means failing and you cannot fail. Of course, being able to surf at high speeds through invigorating sci-fi environments. Today, Thunderful and FuturLab are happy to announce their new action adventure rogue-lite, Ikaro Will Not Die. The spiritual successor to the Velocity series, the game invites players to a sci-fi adventure rooted in fast-paced, momentum-based, gameplay. Importantly, the game was announced with a new trailer that gives players a look at the fast-paced action of the game. Additionally, the trailer shows off the art style and combat.
Ikaro Will Not Die introduces players to a sci-fi roguelite that lives for speed. Players will immerse themselves in the mechanics and exciting systems. For instance, players will be able to move at an incredible pace as they surf through environments and past foes. Importantly, players can get used to the various intricate systems available in the game. Besides movement, combat also plays a major role. The combat of Ikaro Will Not Die allows players to chain impressive abilities together to defeat enemies they encounter. Of course, players will be able to select from a myriad of abilities and put them to use as they see fit.
